Privacy Policy – Wellbeing Foundation Africa

Wellbeing Foundation Africa “WBFA” is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. We use the information we collect about you to help us understand more about how our site is used and to be able to send you communications about WBFA that may be of interest to you, either electronically or otherwise. The "personal information" is information that enables us to identify you, such as your email address, name, title and address.

 

WBFA makes no information available to any third parties and WBFA does not sell or rent user information to anyone.

WBFA collects information volunteered by visitors when subscribing to our newsletter service or registering as a Youth Partner.

Where information is collected via a third party, this data is only used by WBFA unless otherwise stated.

WBFA will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We subcontract some companies to perform functions on our behalf, which at present consists of sending e-mail through MailChimp. Such companies will have access to personal information needed to perform these functions but may not use it for any other purpose and are required to process the data in accordance with the UK's Data Protection legislation.

What are my choices regarding collection, use and distribution of my information?

If you have subscribed to our newsletters and therefore indicated you wish to receive regular information about WBFA’s projects, we will send you communications regarding these activities electronically. In addition, we may send you direct mail that we feel may be of interest to you. If you inform us that you no longer wish to receive these, we will remove you from our mailing list and your details will be deleted from our records.

What is WBFA’s policy on allowing me to update, correct or delete my personal information?

The accuracy of your individual identifying information is important to WBFA. If you change email address or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out- of-date, email us at info@wbfafrica.org.

WBFA has in place reasonable commercial standards of technology and operational security to protect all information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.

As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, WBFA cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
