WBFA collects your data so that we can keep you up-to-date with our activities through our email newsletter and send you invitations to attend our events. We process this data as a legitimate interest in order to promote the WBFA’s work.

Your data will be kept securely until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive our email newsletter and/or invitations to our events.

Who will it be shared with?

We will not sell or rent your data to any third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email Statistics

We use MailChimp to deliver our newsletter and store contact information. This is a password encrypted service provider (read about MailChimp security here). WBFA gathers statistics around open and click-through rates using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our general mailing list at any time by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the email or by emailing info@wbfafrica.org

Your choices

You have the right to determine whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not wish to receive our email newsletter, communications about WBFA or invitations to our events, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes on the form on which we collect your information.
