Spreading Hope: WBFA's Alaafia Kwara Initiative Extends Support to Vulnerable Communities During Holy Seasons


The Wellbeing Foundation Africa Team in Kwara State continues its annual tradition of supporting and empowering the most vulnerable, including orphans and those incarcerated, through the #WBFA Alaafia Kwara Initiative. 

In the spirit and compassion of the Holy Seasons of Ramadan, Lent, and Easter, the WBFA Kwara State Team is donating and distributing food items and clean drinking water to 14 WBFA #MamaCare360 Program cluster healthcare facilities, as well as community care homes, orphanages, schools and youth rehabilitative correctional facilities. 

The outreach spans across the State and includes Sobi Barrack Medical Center, Okelele Primary Health Center, Children Specialist Hospital Centre Igboro, Civil Service Hospital, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Sobi Specialist Hospital, Adewole Cottage Hospital, Badari Maternity and Clinic, Ogidi Banni Primary Health Center, General Hospital Ilorin, Surulere Hospital, Ajikobi Cottage Hospital, Tolulope Hospital, Boaz Medical, Kwara State Children's Reception Centre, Gaa-Akanbi Pipeline, Borstal Training Institution, Ganmo, Nigeria Correctional Service, Okekura, Kwara State School for Special Needs, Oyun, Al-Muwahideen Centre of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ori-Oke, and the Idi-Ori Widows Cooperative, Agbaji.

Through these sustained acts of social care, the Wellbeing Foundation Africa reaffirms its commitment to the health and well-being of the community and spreading goodwill aligned with our frontline programmatic goals and implementation, signifying the essence of benevolence that defines this sacred period.
